Born and raised in Connecticut, Regina Turner, 21 years old, never dreamed she would ever compete in a pageant. She had never even seen one before.

When Regina was asked about Grace after winning her crown she said:

"Although words cannot describe how amazing Grace Fontecha is, here is my best:

"Grace is a beautiful woman inside and out. She has been gifted with incredible passion and a unique knowledge on the “how-to’s” of transforming young women into the best that they can be. It has been a great honor and privilege to share countless hours, late nights, early mornings, tears, and - most importantly - laughs with Grace, as she guided me through my journey of becoming Miss Connecticut USA 2011. Grace has changed my life and helped make my dreams come true. She has instilled in me a confidence and poise and taught me to walk a “killer” walk. I simply cannot wait to begin a new journey with Grace on my way to Miss USA. The moments we have shared, and will share, are memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life."
